Inafuku new boys volleyball head coach

June 6, 2016 - Jordan Inafuku has been promoted to the position of head boys volleyball coach at ‘Iolani School. He was an assistant coach with the Raiders for the past two seasons.

Inafuku takes over from Sean Carney '04, who is relocating to the mainland.

He also coaches with the Spike & Serve volleyball club in Honolulu.

Inafuku, who has previous coaching experience as an assistant at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, Calif., was a four-year letterman at Stanford University (2008-11) and a co-captain as a senior. In 2010, the Cardinal captured the NCAA Championship.

As a student-athlete at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama, Inafuku was a four-time All-State and All-ILH selection in boys volleyball. In 2004, he was selected the HHSAA State Tournament MVP and the Co-State Player of the Year. Inafuku also competed for the USA Youth and Junior National Teams.

A 2015 graduate of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa's William S. Richardson School of Law, Inafuku is an attorney at McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon LLP in Honolulu.
